Zoey The Roller Limbo Princess News 2008

12/20/08: Well, it is the end of another year and Zoey had as much fun this year as any other year. We wish all of you a safe and happy holiday. See you in 2009!

10/28/08: We would like to thank all of you that came out and have seen Zoey this year. She was very inspired by all of your cheering. We don't know what is up for next year yet, but as soon as we find out I will post it here. Have a happy and safe Halloween.

9/28/08: Well, Zoey did the Cranfest parade and it was fun. It was a very nice day, not to hot and not to cold. The crowd was very energetic. Zoey also won first place for Specialty act. Watch soon, I will put up some pictures of all of Zoey's trophies.

9/19/08: Today Zoey received a positive comment on her youtube videos. The person who did the comment, known as mangimages5 on youtube, had made a video of Zoey from the Wo-Zah-Wa parade. Zoey has fans everywhere :) You can see mangimages5's video of Zoey here and please leave some positive feedback as this was a nice job that someone did for Zoey! Also, check out some of the other movies that were made, very cool!

9/18/08: Well, the Roller Limbo Princess is now 9 years old. As Zoey grows, so does her style, make sure you check it out at what ever parade you can get to.

9/14/08: Well, today is the Wo-Zah-Wa parade. It is a bit cloudy, but otherwise a very nice day. Zoey was number 3 in the pre parade right behind the marching band. The crowd was very energetic and that was great for Zoey. Once again Zoey pleased the crowd and she had a lot of fun. We saw a few familiar faces and a lot of new ones. Thank you all for coming out to see Zoey. Next up, the Cranfest parade on 9/28 in Warrens Wisconsin, hope to see you there.

9/8/08: Today Zoey went to Flying Wheels to see how low she can go. Well, even though Zoey is growing, she was still able to go down below 8 inches. Way to go Zoey, the Roller Limbo Princess has still got it, as if she ever lost it :)

8/22/08: Hello everyone! Zoey has done the Rome Wisconsin parade and had a lot of fun. The weather was really nice and there were a lot of people there. Zoey is now training for her big parades coming up in September, Wo-Zah-Wa and Cranfest. These will require a lot of energy and some help form our friends. We hope to see you all there.

8/21/08: I will be posting up some more pictures and maybe even a you tube video. Keep your eyes open for it.

7/16/08: Zoey is ready for the parade in Rome coming up this Saturday. If you would to see here, come out for the parade.

7/1/08: Just incase you are hoping to catch a glimpse of Zoey at the roller rink in Oakdale doing her thing, you might be disappointed. As with all of you, gas has hit us to and we are sticking closer to home. The nearest roller rink is over 40 miles away. So, Zoey has been practicing in outdoor locations throughout Adams County. Maybe you will get lucky and see her. If not, there are always the parades.

6/29/08: Today Zoey did the 4th of July parade in St Germain, in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. A very nice little town and really close to the UP of Michigan. Zoey got to take a trip in to Michigan and see the Paulding Lights. This is a mysterious light that appears at night, it changes colors, and nobody has been able to figure out how and why it is there. There was a huge crowd of people there watching the lights. The parade was lots of fun, and we like to thank Tom and Andrea of Spang's restaurant for having us. The parade went well and the weather was a bit on the cool side for the end of June, in the 50's and rainy, but then as we started the sun peaked out for a little while and made for a nice parade. The crowd really enjoyed Zoey as we can tell from the cheering and the applause. Time to prepare for Rome.

6/22/08: Sorry it has been so long. Today Zoey performed in the Steamboat Days parade in Winona Minnesota. She had a blast and the crowd loved her. New to this years act, is going backwards. While this is definitely more challenging for Zoey, as any little rut in the ground can throw her off because the balance is way different going backwards, she is still doing it and doing it well. The crowd really enjoys the backwards and the forwards routine. It was a nice day, but right after we finished, it started to rain. So much for "don't rain on my parade".

Zoey's parades this year include: Winona in June, St Germain in June, Rome Wisconsin for the Taste of Rome parade in July, possibly Ridgeway Wisconsin in August, and Wisconsin Dells and Cranberry Fest in September. She will be busy this year.

4/26/08: We have been contacted by a few parade sponsors for 2008 about Zoey appearing again. I don't have confirmation on them yet, but the prospects look good. So far, Steamboat Days in Minnesota, Rome in Adams County Wisconsin, Cranberry Fest in Warrens Wisconsin, and Wo-Zah-Wa Days in Wisconsin Dells Wisconsin would all like Zoey to come back this year. I will let you know as we get dates, but so far the first looks like it will be Steamboat Days around Fathers Day.

2/27/08: Hello all!! We were doing a Google on Zoey today to see what she has been doing out there and we found a link to the Ellen Show where they were asking people to vote on the most memorable shows in 2007. Zoey was in there for one of the picks. Check it out, it has video from the show.

In other news, Zoey has been sent an application for the Wo-Zah-Wa parade for 2008. I will let you know if she gets accepted.

Zoey has also appeared on the World Records Academy site in an article and a letter that I sent them. In the story about a boy from India, they mention Zoey as another limbo person but from the United States. The link to the story and a link to the letter, check them out.

2/18/08: It has been a quiet and snowy winter for Zoey and the family. No new news, except that we are getting a lot of snow this year. As spring approaches we hope to have more news. In the meantime, hang in there, it is almost spring.

1/1/08: Today we found out that Zoey appeared on the year end show for News Channel 8 and there was some talk that she was on Talk Soup, but we can not confirm that and we didn't see the show.
